Start Up Check List

Make sure you begin with these prerequisites,

1. Your skill set,
2. Something about you are passionate about, conduct through research on the business sector you will enter,
3. Do you have enough working capital or will you require financing/investment,
4. Understand who your competitors are and how will you differentiate yourself from them,
5. Who will be your customer base?
6. How often will they buy- will it be one-off purchase or repeat?
7. What will it cost to produce, advertise and deliver product or service to market?
8. What are you willing to do and / or give up succeeding?
9. How will you sell your product/ service - via an outlet / online etc?
10. What are the laws with which you have to comply-extremely important in Dubai with the issue of sponsorship/ free zone companies, etc.
11. How long do you estimate it will take to break even and, more importantly, make a profit?
