I have an Idea : That’s the first requirement. But an idea alone is not enough to start a business. There are other things to be done.

How does one get down to turning a dream into reality ? How do you know if you have it in you to run a small business successfully. What are the parameters ? Who will decide what you are going to need to achieve all this ? How do you work out the plan, outline the scope, paint the vision? How do you nail the business plan and make it hap pen ?

It isn’t true that people are ‘cut out ‘ to be business success stories. But yes, people who are innovative, creative and entrepreneurial have a better chance of success. But you need to identify what you are good at and understand your shortcomings and assets. Then, put in all the hard work, constantly evaluate ( your progress ) and if you are not good at something, hire someone else to do it for you.

• 4- the ability to run that set- up
• 5- Self-belief
• 6-Ability to work hard
• 7- Intution /vision ( this helps a great deal but this is not a prerequisite )
